Asalamu Alaykum. I went to Egypt last in October 2025 from Luton Airport and landed in Sphinx Cairo International Airport. I got my visa on arrival.  I went to the visa counter and had the option to pay using my card or $25 cash. I decided to use my card and was charged a little tax.  Then 7 days later. I went to the Abasiyya Passport & Immigration Office to get the 7-day stamp, which registers your entry for 30 days. The whole experience was straightforward.
